About me
So you want to improve your French at work?
Languages have always been part of my life since almost day one.
Years after years I worked on my languages just for passion, just to connect to people having a different culture than mine.
Until foreign languages became part of my everyday work.
Do you want to know more about my story?
I was so happy to tell my parents that I understood some words!
I was very proud of receiving my diploma from ENSEA (French engineer school in Electonics and Computer science).
I would be independant and I was dreaming about living and working abroad.
Finding a job after 9/11 events was hard, but I never gave up and enventually found my first job as a software developer.
I began travelling all accross Europe and was so happy to be understood while speaking English.
I deeply knew that practicing was the main way of improving a foreign language.
Learning Portuguese and my first trip to Brazil will make me understand that learning a language includes learning the culture.
Looking for a job after subprime morgage crises in 2008 made me expand my research in Europe, and I eventually ended up in Belgium where I worked in English everyday.
As my Portuguese was quite fluent, I decided to learn Spanish and travel to Madrid for the first time.
I decided to make my dream come true : and I started with Canada!
I never imagined becoming an IT sales person selling Lenovo products in Canada all accross the country, and becoming a Canadian citizen in 2015!
After 5 years in Canada, I decided to try the Brazilian adventure in São Paulo, and only stayed 3 months because of a bad economic situation.
After more than 5 years abroad, I decided to go back to France and quickly found job as an IT consultant that made me travel and deliver English trainings.
This work experience made me realize that I had good skills for teaching naturally.
I just turned 40 and needed new challenges.
After more than 15 years working for companies I decided to create my own company and choose both my projects and customers.
After getting through the Covid period professionally, I needed a double challenge:
new country and new work challenge.
As I have always enjoyed both deliver presentations and practice languages, I started giving French as a Foreign Language online lessons.
And I chose Thailand to start this new project !
I've also studied Thai language since day one.
Because I still enjoy IT, I want to leverage my skills to help expats improve their professional French.
So I launched "Let's Work in French", online professional French lessons for expats.
