    • Maybe you are an expat working in a French-speaking environment.

You can communicate in French, but you sometimes feel stuck. You understand your colleagues, you can follow French conversations as well as meetings, but you don’t always feel confident expressing your ideas naturally. And because you may be the only person in your workplace learning French, it can be difficult to know who to ask for advice, corrections or practice.

  • Or maybe you are an independent professional working with French-speaking clients or partners

You need French for your business, but finding the right support is not always easy when you have to manage everything by yourself.

In both situations, the challenge is not only about learning more grammar or memorising more vocabulary.

You need to practice real French conversations at work, understand how people communicate in professional environments, and feel comfortable in the situations you experience every day.

  • This is exactly the reason why I created Let’s Work in French.

Languages have always been part of my life. At first, I learned them simply because I was passionate about discovering new cultures and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Over the years, this passion became part of my professional journey.

After more than 20 years working in international business environments, I experienced what it means to communicate, adapt and build relationships in another language and another culture.

I discovered that professional communication is not only about using correct words. It is also about understanding cultural codes, adapting your style and building confidence when speaking with colleagues, clients and partners.

I know what it feels like to use another language in real-life situations because I have experienced it myself.

Today, I help expats and independent professionals improve their professional French through personalised lessons based on the French conversations they actually need:

  • Meetings, interviews, presentations, networking and daily interactions at work.

My journey has taken me through different countries, cultures and professional environments. This is the story that led me to create Let’s Work in French.

1980s
First contact with languages

My parents introduced me to foreign films from an early age.

Realizing that I could understand a few words in English sparked a lifelong passion for languages and other cultures.

2002
IT career

After graduating from ENSEA, a French engineering school in Electronics and Computer Science, I started my IT career as a software developer.

Working in IT and travelling abroad for professional reasons taught me that practicing a language is essential to progress and that learning a language also means understanding its culture.

2010
Becoming an expat

My international journey started in Belgium, where I worked in English in a multicultural environment and discovered the importance of language and cultural adaptation at work.

I then moved to Canada, where I built a career in IT sales, traveled across the country, and became a Canadian citizen.

Later, I continued my expat journey in Brazil, experiencing another professional culture.

2015
Teaching discovery

After more than 5 years abroad, I returned to France as an IT consultant, where I also delivered English trainings.

I discovered my natural ability to teach and support professionals.

After more than 15 years working for companies, I became independent in 2019 to create my own projects and choose the people I wanted to work with.

2024
Thailand

After getting through the Covid period professionally, I was ready for a new challenge: starting a new life in a new country while building a new professional project.

Combining my experience in international environments, my passion for languages, and my ability to deliver presentations, I started teaching French as a Foreign Language online.

I chose Thailand as my new home and have been learning Thai since day one, experiencing myself the challenges of adapting to a new language and culture.

2026
Let's Work in French

All my experiences finally came together: 20 years in the professional world, international work experience, and a lifelong passion for languages.

After living and working in different countries, I created "Let's Work in French" to help expats and international professionals communicate with confidence in French-speaking workplaces.

I now help professionals improve their French conversations at work, from meetings and presentations to interviews and daily interactions.
